Celebration Midweek - July 15

DYK - Did you know we have a Benevolence Box at church?  It is a small brown box off to the side in the entryway.  It my joy each week to open the box on Monday mornings because every Sunday someone drops money in the box for the needs of others.  It shows me the kind of people that attend Celebration.  We believe that other people and their needs matter to God.  If we want to care about the things God cares about, we need to help care for the needs of those God cares about.  Thank you for caring for others by caring for their needs!

5 Important Things for This Week

DYK - Sometimes we are not aware of the structure at Celebration or the need for it.  Did you know that the deacon's have distinct and different areas of responsibility?  The Financial areas are led by Steve DuRose and Ranae Fifolt.  The Benevolence concerns are led by Pam Williamson and Roger Doctor.  The internal Ministries of Mercy are led by Marsha Dunning.  We thank God for our Deacons and their leadership!

3.  Sunday
It seems that men have been reluctant to MAN UP and be the leaders that God has called them to be.  There are plenty of reasons but more are excuses.  Any organization rises and falls with the quality of its leadership.  So get ready to Man Up!  (The Reluctant Leader - Exodus 3-4)
