Celebration Midweek - July 27

PEACE - I have not engaged our political universe too closely but I have heard there is great upheaval in it.  Many are greatly alarmed, deeply afraid, or are just downright angry.  Let me bring some focus to our steps with words from Philippians 4:6-7.  "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."  Don't remove yourself from the next 4 months of life.  Instead, I hope you will you enter this mostly unpleasant reality by first bringing it all before God in prayer.  Only then will you find the peace you are looking for.  May this help you as we approach the elections.
