5. PRAYERS

I am convinced more and more with each passing day that your prayers are not in vain.  In fact, they are needed more than ever.  The percentage of people self described as "no religious affiliation" in our country is growing especially with the younger generations.  Thanks for your diligence in bringing the needs of God's people before our gracious God.
  • Pray for Mike who needs surgery on his wrist and elbow tendon.
  • Pray for difficult situations in strained marriage relationships.
  • Prayer for Lisa Crabtree's mom who had her foot amputated on Monday. Diabetes had restricted the blood flow in her body.  She will need another procedure today to close the wound.
  • From a Communication Card: "I made a commitment today to "put off the old man, be resurrected a new creature, and follow God always."
  • Pray for safe travels for those on hunting trips.
  • Pray for those whose getting divorced.
  • Pray for those just exiting prison and making the adjustment.
  • Pray for those confused about their own sexuality.  May God bring them clarity and peace.
  • Pray for those under the weather with colds and other illnesses.
  • Continue to pray for civil conversations to be had within our election season.
  • Pray for confidence in God as King of the universe whomever gets elected this fall.
