Quote for the day by Rich Mullins: “The Bible is not a book for the faint of heart -- it is a book full of all the greed and glory and violence and tenderness and sex and betrayal that benefits mankind. It is not the collection of pretty little anecdotes mouthed by pious little church mice -- it does not so much nibble at our shoe leather as it cuts to the heart and splits the marrow from the bone. It does not give us answers fitted to our small-minded questions, but truth that goes beyond what we even know to ask.”
The Bible is many things but at it's core it is the truth. It is the truth of our Great God loved a selfish and unfaithful people but still made a way through Jesus that they might be friends again. The Bible is about us and God's way to lead us to him. That is the truth that our souls are asking!

Men seem confused of their own identity in our overly feminized culture. God calls men to stand up and be all that he has called them to be. This is not of the feint of heart but it is the only way men are going to change their world. So get ready to Man Up! (Coach Paul - Philippians 4:9)
