It's Getting Closer!

This Sunday will be our First Service in New Worship Area!  Can I hear an AMEN!  My hope is that we can catch our breath from the relentless pace of the past year to rejoice  in God's continued goodness and faithfulness.  We truly need to celebrate!  My hope is also that we get back to work to see how God will use this building to change lives in and around Muskegon.  May this continue to be our focus!

3. PRAYERS
Here are some prayer requests for this week:
  • Pray for the growing church in Iran and its needs for trained spiritual leaders.
  • Pray for outreach among displaced Syrian people inside the country and for work among refugees in Lebanon and Jordan.
  • Pray for the victims of the Paris attacks.  May God bless and comfort them in this time of need. May we also be blessed with God's grace as we come to grips with terrorists and these attacks.
  • Pray for Jack and Freddie Rottman as their granddaughter is in France for the semester.  May God give his peace and protection.
  • Pray for 8 year old Emma Orr whose cancer isn't gone but has slowed down.  Continue to pray for her as she goes through Chemotherapy treatments.
  • Pray for those who have  lost jobs lately.
  • Pray for the Grand Opening on December 13 but also our first service next Sunday and the Thanksgiving service on Wednesday, Nov. 25.  May God relieve the stress of the events that we may focus on his assignments for us.
  • Pray for the stress of the holidays which is building even now.
  • Pray for Brenda Swanson and her family on the death of her uncle.
  • Pray for safety during hunting season.
  • Pray for Mike Straley as he recovers from cataract surgery on Monday.
  • Pray for joy to fill the hearts of those who have known so much pain and suffering in life.
  • Lacey Kremmel asked for prayers for her friend Jessica who is a high risk pregnancy. She found her mom passed out on the floor. Her mom was rushed to the hospital and is in a coma and said to be brain dead.
