Sunday is Pentecost!

SUNDAY - This Sunday we celebrate Pentecost.  Traditionally the color for Pentecost is red so dress accordingly if you feel festive.  Get ready for "Pentecostal Power"  from Acts 2:1-41!

June 7, Women's Bible Study, 10:30AM.  We continue in "1000 Gifts" by Ann Voskamp, 
June 12, Council Transition Meeting, 6:30PM.
June 15, Dream Team Meeting, 5:00PM at Church.
Aug. 9, Unity Fest Free Day, 5:00-10:00PM.

Prayer Focus: Chile
  • Pray for continued Church growth and pure biblical teaching amid ongoing persecution.
  • Pray for Jesus' teachings to take deep root in the culture and expose all false religions.
  • Pray for a renewed value for life to abolish abortion, suicide, abandonment, and human trafficking.

Local Prayers:
  • Please pray for Lynn Pluger who is at Hackley Hospital after her Appendectomy.  She is in Room 421 and will be there a few more days.
  • Praise God for a wonderful time of destruction of Eve's condemned garage.  All the wood was taken away and hopefully Eve can remove everything else by June 1 so she will not be fined.
  • Praise God for Pam Serene's friend, Emma Orr, whose recent scans sho no cancerous tumors.
  • Pray for Ed Cohea's friend, Lori Ackerman, who had a minor heart attack on Saturday.
  • Pray for those who struggle with depression.
  • Praise God for the wonderful people he placed in our lives to lead us to Jesus.
  • Pray for "some rest".
  • Pray for new job opportunities.
  • Pray for Robin Dykstra's brother Carl after triple bypass surgery.
  • Pray for students to finish the school year well.
  • Pray for God's leading in auditions and job interviews.
  • Pray for world peace.
  • Pray for time management during this stressful season of life.

  • Pray for Sandy Hazelmyer's sister in law who had a stroke recently.
  • Pray for Mike Straley who has pneumonia and is still recovering in Utah.
