Our Security is Never in Doubt!

Eugene Peterson has a great quote to help bring peace in times of uncertainty.  He writes, "All the persons of faith I know are sinners, doubters, uneven performers.  We are secure not because we are sure of ourselves but because we trust that God is sure of us."  Let us be sure of this today: God Loves You!  He will never give up on you!  Never!  (2 Timothy 1:12-14)

Prayer Focus: Columbia

• Pray for spiritual and physical protection for believers who face the threat of violence for their commitments to Christ.
• Pray for a wise and courageous government that will take a hard stance against violence, drug cartels, and corruption.
• Pray for the spiritual battle for Colombia to be won in Jesus' name through persistent and prevailing prayer.

• Praise God for Greg and Sandy Hazelmyer's son-in-law whose PET scan showed no more evidence of cancer in his body!
• Pray for the CRC Synod which meets this week.  May God give his guidance, wisdom, and unity to the leadership of the denomination.
• Continue to pray for Wayne Kittle as he still is having balance issues.
• Pray for those who lost loved ones in the recent London terrorist attacks.
• Pray that we may spread God's love to others, especially our children.
• Praise God for friends and family to get us through the tough times.
• Continued prayers of healing for Lynn Pluger.
• Pray for healthy pregnancys.

• Pray for our president and other governmental leaders.
